Deathday Poem

Today is the day I’m gonna pass away.
For all of my sins, I will have to pay.
Unless I find God, in the nick of time,
To forgive my ways, wash away my crimes.

But which of them beings is the real one?
So many choices. Man, this ain’t fun.
There’s only one sensible thing to do.
Pray to ‘em all. I got no time to lose.

Sweet Jesus, you are my Lord and Savior.
Got a worldwide rep for your Christ-like Behavior.
You died on the cross for all mankind,
And something something else, water into wine.

Jehovah. Yo-hovah. I’m knocking at your door.
Hey, hey, Yahweh, don’t think I’m a bore.
Got a pamphlet for you, with illustrations.
My Heavenly credentials, my qualifications.

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the universe.
I’ve read the Quran, though not verse for verse.
Some would suggest it seems kind of sexist.
But I ain’t one to argue in my moment of exit.

Buddha, my man, I need some nirvana.
Got too many desires, even when I don’t wanna.
The end is near, and I feel kind of frightened.
Any quick tips for a bro to get enlightened?

Shiva, Krishna, Ganesha, Vishnu,
Ah, fuck this. Just too many of you.

And… Oh. I just died.
